
Emilia Garcés ia cellist with extensive international experience as a performer and educator. She earned her Master’s degree in Cello Performance under Prof. Emmanuel Lopez at West Texas A&M University (USA), where she was awarded the prestigious High Talent Scholarship. She later completed a Master’s degree in Musicology at the University of São Paulo (Brazil) with Prof. Dr. Mônica Lucas.
She has performed across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, continually refining her artistry through masterclasses with renowned cellists such as Maria Kliegel, Valentin Radutiu, and Inbal Segev.

Since 2019, Garcés has been based in Berlin, where she focuses on chamber music and teaching. She is a faculty member at the Musik- und Kunstschule Havelland, where her students have received numerous prizes at competitions including Jugend musiziert and con-Takt junior.

She is also a member of Tricordanza, a distinctive ensemble of violin, cello, and guitar known for its stylistic versatility and original arrangements, spanning repertoire from Baroque to Tango.
Through her performances, teaching, and collaborative projects, Garcés explores connections between musical traditions, cultures, and artistic disciplines.
